BOOGIE TO MEMPHIS & the Blues Behind Daytona

Boogie to Memphis at the Bank and Blues in Daytona was “Fantastic” said one attendee.
Our ticket winners Stacie Jenkins Garafano and Kim M. Garafano had broad smiles as they kicked back and enjoyed the show.
Blown away was an understatement, as wind blew and a mid summer thunderstorm threatened to bring down the house, the storm did the Floridian roar, but all we heard was the sound of timeless blues.
The winner was Souliz. This is their second time heading to Memphis to compete for the title of international Blues artist of the year.
They were a reminder of how America is awesome. The name of the band reflects how you feel when you listen to them play. Sugar and Spice a 15 year old guitar phenom “Hurricane”, Tony Fullwood an incredible rythmic Bass player and original member and the rest of the band just simply stole the show.
Blues ruled the day but the food being dished out by “ODB” the famous wrestler from TNA Wrestling at her food truck Meat and Greet was second to none. Pork u Nacho’s and Pick Yo Meat Rice Bowls, can I have some more please.
We Congratulate the artists that performed and look forward to sponsoring the event and supporting Volusia County Blues Society next year.
