Eatery Warning “John Scotts On The Water”
John Scotts on the water Westhampton Beach.
On what had been one the most memorable sunsets. We decided to try John Scotts on the Water in Westhampton Beach NY.
It was a most unfortunate decision.
Upon entering we were greeted by well noone. Soon after what I guess was the Bratender greeted us rudely yes I said “Bratender”
I asked if there was an ATM and she pointed with a smirk.
I tried the ATM only to see that the transaction would not go through but they did remove the funds from my account. $43.00, I was told the establishment didn’t own the machine and they weren’t responsible. I asked for my card back and left the drinks on the bar. They charged me $16.00. Meanwhile the manager could only say that he was not responsible. This is not what we call acceptable at Behind Your Destination.
To make matters worse I noticed on the way out that mice were running out of the kitchen, a worker sat outside and picked at his finger nails only to go back in and serve food to unwitting diners without so much as making an attempt to wash his hands.
Absolutely horrendous experiance. If you know whats good for you stay far away from here.
