No Country 500 in 2019

​Daytona Beach will not be hosting a
4th Country Music Festival in 2019.
In 2018 the long running Blues Festival was
also canceled.
​These events are big draws for the city as of yet there are no plans to replace either one.
The Local Music scene in
Daytona is competitve and places to play for pay are struggling.
The latest casualty was the closing of Sunsetters Riverfront Bar & Grill on Main Street.
There are some signs of interest of something new as sources we have talked with mention The Shores Resort and Spa as a host to Something called Beach & Blues no details were given as to dates or acts or who the organizers might be.
