Hit and Run on Seabreeze again. Leaves a community in mourning.

By Staff Writer

There is no confirmation although sources say this is a repeat offender. The police have a suspect no arrests have been made yet and the Daytona Police Department has been quiet.

Meanwhile friends and family mourn the passing of Justin Alexander.

We stopped by the Daytona Taproom to talk with Richard Kitt the owner of the Daytona Tap Room Group of restaurants. He was the employer of Justin.
Rick was distraught and that is an understatement.

Justin’s colleagues would not give in to the depression and instead celebrated his life with shots of Jameson with picklebacks and makeshift Memorial outside where he worked.

Grieving family, colleagues, friends and the community are left with the same feeling over and over again why, why now, why somebody so young how do we stop this?

Daytona Beach Police Chief Craig Capri and his department have done everything right, sometimes things just go terribly wrong.

The police and detectives are certainly building a case and it is hoped an arrest will be made soon.

Anyone with Information is urged to contact the DBPD. All calls will be kept confidential.
